Graduate students

We are seeking highly motivated graduate students (MS or PhD) with a strong interest in biological sciences. Our research areas include: 1) developing novel molecular biosensors using fluorescence resonance energy transfer (FRET), 2) utilizing optogenetic techniques to control cellular functions and behaviors, 3) exploring fundamental mechanisms in cell-cell communication and cell-microenvironment interactions, and 4) investigating aspects of mechanobiology. If these topics resonate with you, please reach out to Dr. Tae-Jin Kim via email or phone.

Undergraduate students

We welcome undergraduate students eager to gain hands-on research experience in cell biology and molecular biology/engineering. Interested students are encouraged to contact Dr. Tae-Jin Kim for more information.
